Bavaria Pride 2026: confirmed remaining dates and open details

Bavaria still has Pride demonstrations and community festivals ahead in autumn 2026. This overview covers confirmed dates from 10 September and explains which details to check before travelling. August dates are now past events, not upcoming recommendations.

Understanding verification

• Date confirmed: the day appears in an official source.
• Time confirmed: a specific start has been published.
• Meeting point confirmed: the public start or event location is supported.
• Still open: programme, route, access or afterparty needs another check.

Plan a regional Pride

1. Open the original source the day before and on the day.
2. Check travel, return and road closures.
3. Bring water, weather protection and required medication.
4. Ask about step-free routes, toilets, quiet spaces or interpretation.
5. Agree a public regrouping point with friends.

Smaller town, important purpose

Regional Prides combine protest, local visibility and often the first reachable community contact for people nearby. Programmes may be more compact than Munich or Nuremberg, but the regional connection can be immediate. Follow safety policies, do not photograph people against their wishes and do not share sensitive locations.

When the programme changes

Weather, public-authority requirements, safety or logistics can change routes and times. GayBayern updates supported facts but is not the organiser's live channel. The event page is a starting point; the original source is the final check before travelling.

The next six Pride dates

As of 10 September, LSVD+ Bavaria lists Freilassing and Kaufbeuren on 12 September, Erlangen on 19 September, Herzogenaurach and Landshut on 26 September, and Fürstenfeldbruck on 17 October. The calendar therefore continues beyond September. A confirmed day does not establish a complete stage programme or march route.

For this weekend, compare Freilassing and Kaufbeuren. They share a date: choose one realistic destination rather than planning two complete programmes. Erlangen Pride is a later option in Franconia. GayBayern's event calendar also includes other forthcoming community gatherings.

March, rally and street festival are different

A start time may refer to assembly, departure or the stage programme. When a source provides several times, note the phase relevant to your visit. To join the whole march, you need its assembly point; to arrive later for festivities, you need the festival location. Afterparties may have separate age and ticket rules and are not automatically included in a free demonstration programme.

What if calendars disagree?

First check that the sources refer to the same year and event. Compare publication dates and look for a recent correction from the organising team. A search preview can be older than the page it links to. GayBayern labels unresolved conflicts explicitly. When essential details remain uncertain, do not make non-refundable travel arrangements based solely on a secondary calendar.
