Principles
GayBayern only collects data required for each function. It does not create sensitive advertising profiles, allow media uploads in chat or expose precise locations.
Optional audience measurement
GayBayern uses Google Analytics 4 only after your explicit consent. Before that, the Google tag is blocked completely: no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data or consent ping is sent to Google. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Processing by Google LLC or other subprocessors, and associated international transfers, cannot be ruled out. Google explains its processing on services embedded in third-party sites in its partner-sites information ↗.
After consent, measurement is limited to the page path without query parameters, page title, referrer, and reduced technical browser and device data. GayBayern sets no user ID, sends no chat, submission or contact data, and disables Google signals, granular location and device data, advertising storage and personalised advertising. Analytics cookies prefixed_ga are non-renewing and limited to no more than 60 days; property event and user data retention is set to two months.
The decision is stored in your browser asgaybayern_analytics_consent_v1. You can change it at any time through “Analytics settings” in the footer. Withdrawal prevents future measurement and deletes accessible analytics cookies.
Disabled in Phase A
Public chat, private messages, presence, event interest, public attendee lists, payments and automated advertising purchases are disabled server-side. Public pages do not load those client features.
Submissions
Contact details and supporting information are stored only for manual editorial review. Submissions are never published automatically.
OpenAI
Automatic publication is disabled. A later Radar workflow may send only limited official source text server-side, require strict structured output and use store: false. Private user and communication data remain excluded.
Still required
Legal bases, recipients and processors, retention periods, transfers, supervisory authority, data-subject procedures and the data protection officer decision require qualified legal confirmation. Until then, this is not a complete privacy notice.
